Learn to scuba dive with us!
North Suburban Scuba Instructors, Inc. is a group of NAUI instructors that have been actively teaching Scuba diving since 1991. We teach scuba diving with an emphasis on safety and having fun! You will master essential diving skills and gain confidence in the water with our tried and true techniques. We excel at teaching all levels of divers, from basic open water through divemaster and assistant instructor. We also teach many specialty classes, including:
- Open Water Scuba Diver
- Junior Open Water Scuba Diver (ages 12-15)
- Advanced Open Water
- Rescue
- Underwater Photography
- Drysuit Diving
- Wreck Diving
- Search and Recovery
- Ice Diving
We also have a program for those with physical disabilities.

Since we are not associated with a dive shop and we use a mainly volunteer staff, we are able to provide you with an excellent learning experience at a competitive price.
Classes are 8 weeks long, held on Tuesday nights at the North Suburban YMCA from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm and on Sunday afternoons from 4:00 to 8:00 at the Lakeview YMCA.
